The Farrer Road Street Party will be taking place on Sunday June 20th 2010.
Some IMPORTANT bits to make the day go smoothly... Most importantly so that we all have the best party ever - Please REMEMBER:
CARS
PLEASE could everyone move their cars from outside house numbers 19– 57 and 16-48 by 9am on the day. This is primarily for safety reasons as the children attending will be on their bikes/scooters/playing football etc and it would be great if they could have a clear road. Plus – it will be safer for your car to be parked somewhere else! We also need to clear space for all the tables. If you have a drive – then it is up to you. However, please bear in mind that once the party starts then you won’t be able to move your car. We appreciate your help in this matter.
STREET PARTY STEWARDS
For those helping – we will begin to get the road ready for the party from 9.30 am.
TABLES
This year we will be having 2 rows of tables outside house numbers 20-38. We will be putting markers on the pavements showing you where to put your table. Please set up tables from 12 noon.
FIRST AID
There will be a first aid/lost children point by the PA system.

OD
Two dishes made for sharing. One savoury and one dessert. If you can prepare an international dish, so much the better. There will be tables near the Barbeque to set out all the food. There will be a separate table for vegetarian dishes. Biscuits/cakes for refreshments after the Games would be very welcome.
PLATES
Cutlery and glasses/cups – enough for you and your household.
DRINKS
Bring your own (hard and soft).
BALLOONS
To add to the festive spirit, please blow up a few colourful balloons and attach them to your
door/garden gate. If you have any flags – they are welcome too.
